Editors Pick Among 18,000 Wines

This past Monday, Wine Spectator released their Top 100 wines for 2014. For those who are interested in the selections process for these wines, they do not play favorites when it comes to certain producers, but rather they make their selections each year based on the quality, value, availability, and excitement of each wine. Several new regions, grapes, and styles appear each year on the list which goes to show how the wine industry has an ever-changing landscape. The average score this year was 93 points and the average price was $47, which is lower than the price point for last year's Top 100. Anyone who is interested in these wines on the list, please let us know because they will disappear quickly!
