Memorial Day is coming! Make sure you are properly stocked for the barbecue! You can't go wrong with these three delicious wines. Everyone get out there and celebrate by starting this grilling season off right!

Chateau Salettes Bandol Rose, Provence, France, 2014$29/BTL.

The Bandol appellation is located between Marseille and Toulon, and has only a few villages all of which are located on high ground. This dry rose blend consists of 40% Mourvedre, 28% Cinsault, 27% Grenache, and 5% Syrah. The Mourvedre gives it more expressive notes of flowery and fruity characteristics where as the Grenache and Syrah give it a fruity and savory feel. This wine pairs well with both side dishes and main dishes. Enjoy this wine with some grilled shrimp, crab, burgers, sausages, or just drink it by itself!

Ernesto Catena Vineyards Tikal Patriota, Mendoza, Argentina, 2012

$19.50/BTL.

Tikal Patriota "The Patriot" is a delicious Malbec blend. With its dark purple hue, This is a full-bodied but balanced wine with strawberry, cherry, and cocoa powder notes. On the pallate, it is dry The finish also has some peppery spice to it. After letting this wine breath for about an hour, it opens up very nicely giving it a lovely violet fragrance.

Try this with grilled beef or pork, barbecued ribs, and pizza with meat toppings. You won't be disappointed.

Sonoma-Loeb Chardonnay, Sonoma County, 2012

$18.50/BTL. 

Sonoma-Loeb delivered a Chardonnay that has richness and expressive character! It captures the tropical fruit and spice notes very well. The Chardonnay was barrel fermented and aged in both French oak and stainless steel tanks and underwent malolactic fermentation as it aged for 8 months before bottling. Although this is true Burgundian style, you are getting the savoir-fare of Burgundy with the juicy and ripe fruits of Sonoma County. We recommend pairing with a nice seared or roasted shellfish such as lobster or scallops, salmon poached in a butter sauce, or pasta in a creamy sauce.
