Gian Luca Colombo is one of the most exciting young talents working in Italy today. He makes wines in Piedmont both for himself and for his consulting clients. We are pleased to present a special offer of two outstanding Barolos made by him, which come from different parts of the region, and offer very different styles.

For Castello di Perno, he makes Barolo from the Castelletto cru. This is a rich, powerful style, typical of the village of Monforte d'Alba, with heady aromas of spice and dried red fruits. Gian Luca's own Barolo comes from three vineyards, one each in the villages of Roddi, La Morra and Monforte d'Alba. The villages of Roddi and La Morra give perfumed, elegant wines, and that is the style of this Barolo.
