Named after the mining tool used to separate gold from sand and gravel, this vineyard pays tribute to their original owner, Jean Laurent, who embarked on a journey from Bordeaux to California in search of gold. The 60-acre Rockerbox Vineyard, situated at the foot of Mount Saint Helena, is a treasure trove surrounded by bay laurel, wild fennel, and oak woodlands. Its rocky, gravelly soils serve as a crucible, coaxing intense blueberry and blackberry jam characteristics from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot grapes. Only 9 barrels were produced of this wine. Once exclusively enjoyed by Markham's wine club members, this extraordinary wine can now be yours to relish.
