Another home run from Caymus Vineyards! This is a very fruit forward wine that gives very expressive scent characteristics of tayberry, cherry, underbrush, sandalwood, slight white pepper, and sage. The flavor profile is exacting notes of dark fruits such as tayberry and blackberry with notes of lavender, sage, marjoram, and cardamom. It already tastes like a vintage wine that anyone can drink tonight but this would be a very interesting wine to drink in a few years to see how it is evolving and developing further. Simply delicious!
